Minds Do Matter opening at QVMAG 2023

 

Minds Do Matter exhibition explores the relationship between art and mental health, celebrating the power of art to be life enhancing and life affirming.

The exhibition allows participants and audiences alike to contribute to vital conversations about mental health empowering them to become mental health advocates for their community.

Entries to Minds Do Matter will reopen early May 2024.

Minds Do Matter is a statewide winner of a Resilient Australia Community Award, a recipient of City of Launceston’s Community Recognition Event Award and was a finalist in the Suicide Prevention LiFE Awards.

NB. The Mental Health Council Tasmania 2024 Mental Health Week theme will be added as a byline once it is announced in coming months.

In 2024 Minds Do Matter will be on display and open to the public at three venues: 

Launceston - QVMAG Inveresk, 28th September - 1st December 2024

Devonport - RANT Arts, 4th October - 15th November 2024

Hobart - Moonah Arts Centre, 20th September - 12th October 2024
